Ants are one of the most common pest calls in south east Queensland. Black house ants march across benches, coastal brown ants push sand up through pavers and tile grout, and some ants move into wall cavities and power points. Baits need a few days to work, so try not to spray or wipe away the ants feeding on them. It can feel strange to leave them alone, but they are carrying the bait back to the queen. Trails usually thin out over a week or so.
